Social security law is a branch of public law, with the aim of regulating social security. Everyone has the right to what we call the social security benefit, therefore, it is necessary to be a taxpayer, either autonomously or through the mandatory contribution by CLT for all workers. It is necessary to be insured and comply with all requirements for the acquisition of benefits, which each has its own particularities. It is through this branch that it is possible to enter administratively and / or judicially to receive a pension for death, retirement, sickness benefit, maternity allowance, among others.
